Description: Lord, we lift up the Open Door Mission and ask for Your guidance and blessings upon all who are involved. May Your will be done in this ministry, and may Your presence be felt in the hearts of the staff, students, guests, volunteers, and donors. We pray for good health and wellness for all involved, and that You will provide for every need, both physically and spiritually. Description: Mike Hood a resident at Richmont, has gone to heaven to be with the Lord. Prayers for his family as they mourn the loss, but rejoice that he is in heaven. Also, pray for the safe completion of the mission trip and safe return of his son and granddaughter to El Salvador.

Update: Ken is being admitted to the hospital this afternoon. The neuropathy is getting worse along with confusion and loss of balance. Praying for wisdom for the drs and a clear diagnosis for treatment to bring relief. Peace for Karen while she waits with Ken.
Description: Prayer for my friends Ken and Karen Sorensen. Karen is recovering from a second surgery on her ankle. She cannot put any weight on it for eight weeks so needs to use a wheel chair to get around. Prayers for continued healing and Gods peace during her restlessness and challenges. Ken is dealing with painful neuropathy in his legs and feet from his cancer treatments. Prayers for wisdom for his drs as they continue to find the right meds to help with this pain. And that Ken will also feel Gods peace and strength.

I owe so much praise to Our Lord for getting me through a heart attack, pneumonia and 2 kidney infections (1 that was almost fatal) this past year and the many prayers offered for my healing. Thank you.

Description: After having some strokes and partial focal seizures, since 2023 and 2024, I have been diagnosed with an uncommon fibromuscular dysplasia of the cervicocranial artery disease. The treatments are meds with considerable side effects.. I would appreciate prayers for guidance, patience, wisdom, and healing, when working with the doctors to monitor and manage my treatment in the future.
Since I am not allowed to drive, I Thank the Lord for all the support and help I have received from TLC, my family, and friends. Except for side effects, I have been feeling pretty well. Even though there is no cure, I hope to get back to doing as many things as I can. God Bless You.

Update: Nadra is being released from the hospital! Thank you Lord for your healing hand. Continue to guide and heal Nadra in the days ahead.
Update: Nadra has been in therapy, walking. She will remain in the hospital a couple more days to try to alleviate the brain bleed.
Description: Please keep Nadra Ewing and her family in your prayers. Nadra fell on the ice this evening and hit her head. A CT scan revealed bleeding on her brain, and she will be transferred to UNMC for further testing and observation. She is conscious and aware of what happened.
Lord, we life up Nadra Ewing in prayer. We ask for Your healing touch upon her. We trust in Your power to restore and renew, and we pray for her full recovery. Surround her family with Your peace, comfort, and strength as they walk through this challenge together.
We also ask that You guide the hands and hearts of the medical team caring for her. Grant them wisdom, discernment, and skill in every decision and treatment they provide.

Description: Request prayers for my sister-in-law, Carol, along with her family and friends. Carol has been fighting CNS lymphoma for over 7 years. She found out yesterday she has a new, aggressive tumor and Dr's are out of treatment options. They are currently interviewing Hospice providers.

Update: James was released from the hospital today, but is still recovering. Lord, we continue to lift James to you for his health to be restored and that he will feel Your love surrounding him.
Description: Please pray for James Driscoll. He has been admitted to Bellevue Medical Center with pneumonia in his left lung, bacterial pneumonia in his right lung, Influenza A, and a dilated bladder. He will be receiving antibiotics, and his bladder will be drained. Thankfully, it appears he will only need to stay overnight for observation.
Lord, we lift up James to You. We ask for wisdom and guidance for his medical team as they care for him. May Your healing hand be upon him, bringing strength, comfort, and a swift recovery. Surround him with Your peace and restore his health completely. Amen
