Restoring the Foundations FAQs

RTF Healing Prayer Ministers are not licensed or ordained counselors, social workers, or pastors. Each minister however, has passed extensive training and qualification criteria for ministering RTF Healing Prayer Ministry.

Every ministry session will be led by two prayer ministers.

RTF Healing Prayer Ministry is open to everyone. Should you choose a minister in the Healing House Network (HHN), you may contact them on your own at the number provided. Someone from that ministry will contact you to discuss the application process. Once the application is received, your minister will contact you to discuss a ministry date and final details.

RTF HHN ministry teams are ready to bring healing and freedom to God’s people! Each team has experienced an extensive training and qualification processes including:

  • Acquiring knowledge and comprehension of the Integrated Approach to Biblical Healing from studying the book Restoring the Foundations (5-10 hours)

  • Receiving personally, Issue-Focused Ministry (IFM) and Thorough-Format Ministry (TFM) (18-24 hours)

  • Attending a Healing/Deliverance Seminar (12-15 hours)

  • Successfully completing an IFM Activation Seminar to minister the IFM format to others (21 hours)

  • Continuing education of essential core training while attending periodic training/supervision meetings in local church (10 hours)

  • Ministering IFM at the church lay level while under local church cover while gathering experience and verification of God’s gifting and calling (minimum of 24 hours)

  • Successfully completing TFM training at the Observing Step, including observing an experienced team minister to one person (30-35 hours)

  • Successfully completing a TFM activation by ministering to two people under the oversight of a qualified RTF trainer (40-50 hours)

  • Being released as church lay ministers using the RTF TFM, attending periodic training/supervision meetings in the local church

  • Ministering TFM to at least twelve people, gaining experience and verifying God’s gifting and calling (180-216 hours)

  • Qualifying as an RTF Healing House Minister, by ministering to a couple (two people) with a teammate, while being observed/evaluated by a HHN-provided trainer/qualifier (30-36 hours)
