Count Team

POSITION IMPACT
Members of the count team process and record the weekly contributions and prepare the bank deposit of those offerings. Accurate recording of donations is necessary to provide meaningful contribution reports for our contributors and for the church leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Detail-oriented

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information

  • Reliability in keeping scheduled turns, or making arrangements for a substitute counter

BENEFITS
Fellowship time with other members of the count team, and becoming more familiar with the work of the church through processing the various offerings.

LENGTH OF COMMITMENT

  • Sunday afternoons, 1:00pm until about 2:30pm

  • Several turns during a quarterly schedule, scheduled around the volunteer’s availability

  • Occasional Sunday morning or Monday evening counts for special seasonal offerings
