Explorers Nursery Volunteer

POSITION IMPACT
A nursery volunteer ministers and cares for the youngest members of the Thanksgiving community. Be a positive presence for children in the care of the Nursery.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Love for young children

  • Compassionate and Caring

  • Willingness to teach children the love of Jesus through word and deed

  • Must be in 7th Grade or older to serve.

  • Must complete a background check.

LENGTH OF COMMITMENT

  • As Available

  • Prefer a commitment of at least one shift (1.5 hour) per month.

TRAINING
There will be initial training for this position. Responsibilities include playing and reading with children, holding babies, maintaining a clean environment and being a team player all while shining the Light of Jesus.
