Additional Questions:
In this reading, Paul asks Timothy to be circumcised even though it has been decided by the church leaders that circumcision is not required for Gentiles (in this case, a Greek person). He does this so Timothy will have legitimacy with the people he will be discipling and leading.
Ask God in prayer this week if there is something He desires for you to sacrifice for the person or people He desires you to lead (everyone has influence with someone - so you are a leader).
If you discover there is something, ask Him to help lead and guide you through this process. Remember, He provides the power of the Holy Spirit to help us change.
