Acts 4:8 says, "Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them..." Peter has a new clarity regarding Scripture because he is filled with the Holy Spirit. This week, as you read all of Acts 4, ask for the Holy Spirit to bring clarity on what it says about who Jesus is and what the Old Testament prophetic verses show about who Jesus is.

Verse 13 states, " When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus." Considering everything you have read about Peter and John throughout Luke and Acts thus far, what do you think is enabling them to have this newfound courage and confidence? What does their example show about how you can grow in confidence and courage as you walk out your faith?
